REMOTE INSPECTION · FACADES AND SHIPS
Inspection reports in days, not weeks.
Your operator captures on site. The engineer or surveyor joins live from the office, directs every pass, marks findings on the frames, and signs a report drafted from them.
01TODAY
The capture takes two hours. The report takes weeks. Scheduling, travel, file handover and write-up happen one after another, and each waits on the last.
Scheduling
Four parties have to agree on one morning. If one can't make it, the job moves.
Engineer travels to site
Then stands beside the operator for the whole capture.
Capture and assessment
Defects judged outdoors, on a small controller screen.
Photo handover
Files arrive on a drive or link, then get sorted by hand.
Review and write‑up
Findings typed image by image, the report built from scratch.
02HOW SKYHOST WORKS
The same inspection, run differently. Same duty, same judgement, same close-range capture on site. What changes is who travels and how findings reach the report.
Schedule
One booking. Everyone invited from it. Coverage agreed before anyone travels.

Scope in plain words.
What everyone sees in the session and on the report.
Date and window.
Agreed once, for everyone.
Operator.
Your operator, with availability shown.
Guests invited next.
One link each, from the booking.
Live
The engineer directs the operator from the office, in the Flight Portal. Defects are seen and captured during the flight.
Review
Each frame on a full-size screen. Defect, severity, region, note.
Report
Drafted from the findings into your template. Amend a finding and the draft follows. The engineer signs.
03FLIGHT PORTAL
Everyone who needs to see it, in one live session. The Competent Person (CP), the owner's representative and anyone else you invite join the Flight Portal from a browser link. No app. No account for guests.

04REVIEW AND REPORT

05PROJECT RECORD
One record per building or vessel. Bookings, participants, photos, findings and reports stay together. The next inspection cycle starts from the last one.
06WHAT STAYS THE SAME
Skyhost changes the logistics, not the professional duty.
The professional decides.
Every defect type and severity is set by the Competent Person or attending surveyor, and the record shows who set it.
The site team stays.
The facade inspector or dive supervisor attends on site, as the rules require today. Skyhost adds people to the inspection. It doesn't remove anyone.
Your operator, your equipment.
Your operator flies. Your firm's accredited operator uses the drones and cameras they already have.
No models, no twins.
Skyhost doesn't build 3D models or digital twins. It is the live session, the findings and the report.
07INDUSTRIES
Built for inspections someone has to sign. We start where the rules already expect a qualified person to see the defect.

Questions we're asked first
Does Skyhost replace the engineer's site visit?
For the flight, yes. The Competent Person or surveyor joins live from the office. The facade inspector or dive supervisor still attends on site, as the rules require today.
Who signs the report?
The Competent Person or attending surveyor, as today. Skyhost drafts the report from their findings and records who made each one. It never signs, certifies or makes a declaration.
Who owns the inspection data?
Your firm. Photos, findings and reports stay on your project record, and reports export as PDF.
Data protectionDo we need new drones or hardware?
No. Skyhost takes the live feed from the equipment your operator already uses: DJI drones through the controller app, and other drones, ROVs and cameras that can send an RTMP stream.
Do guests need an account or an app?
No. Guests open the link from the booking in a browser. Your team signs in to review findings and publish reports.
Can we use our own report template?
Yes. We set up your templates when you start: for example, BCA forms for facades, or your class report format for ships.
How is Skyhost priced?
We quote per programme, based on the inspections you run. Most firms start with one inspection, and we price the programme with you after it.
